Bad service! Not able to deliver schnitzel dishes with a side dish when requested by telephone, although it is clearly stated on the website that a delivery service is available. Now there is schnitzel from the competition ...

Very nice location and menu

But the crispy and perfectly prepared goose is worth the visit to this beautifully restored mill near Langen. First there was homemade goose lard. The boss himself carves the goose professionally at the table. A good selection of wines and the well-kept atmosphere made for a carefree evening. Many thanks to the whole team.

Great ambience, great service and absolutely high quality food. The truffle evening is well worth the price and a visit. Even if we came to this visit by chance, everything was made possible to accommodate us.

We had dinner here. Food was OK, burger Im. Ot crazy about it. Wine from Austria. Veltliner was kind of flat. Zweigelt just OK

For anyone feels like paying extra for the location and a beautiful toilet. That should suffice the one star. Overpriced soup with Knödel didn't seem to justify 7.90 Eur for lunch. The soup came in 20 minutes after order with a plummeting drop of feeling. Extraordinally sizable soup dish with thickest dim of outer diameter, resulted in very small portion of hole fit for actuall edible soup. Taste was mediocre to somewhat funny. You expect something if you pay for a soup with 7 Eur where many other locals do 2-3 EUR. No doubt that the location was awesome and toilet was clean, (which is somehow an evaluation criteria in Germany ) but such places may not have to work hard to compete with others. Thus, the an average soup costs you 7.90EUR with 20 minutes waiting !

We have purchased a 5 course truffle menu for 79 € for 2 persons through Travelzoo. This was absolutely worth the money. It was delicious. Great atmosphere, very nice service, no difference between voucher and normal guests. We will be back.

Visited twice: Great ribs with beer and a great seafood buffet evening, but the first visit had, ironically, a notably more comfortable seating than the posh seafood event. The "standard" seating is with a view into a lovely meadow, on large wooden tables and benches. The event seating was in the cobblestone yard, which made the chairs and tables rickety and crammed. However, both times, there was some amazing food in generous portions served by kind, friendly staff. Wouldn't mind larger wine fillings for the price at the event, but the beer in the usual serving (brought by jolly men in Lederhose) was just right.
